" As pleasant a stay as I’ve ever had"

I’m just here for a few days. I’m in Jerusalem to scratch one off the bucket list, and to wear out my camera. The Sephardic House and the folks here have been a joy. Pleasant, helpful, and generous. I recommend them highly.
" The most wonderful place to stay in Jerusalem"

This was the first time I stayed at the Sephardic House and it was so wonderful I will make it the place I stay whenever visiting Jerusalem. It is like staying in an amazingly beautiful guest house, so without the normal hotel tourist and tipping culture. The inside has been beautifully done, particularly the deluxe rooms area, lounge, and courtyard. The deluxe rooms really are wonderful and have the arched high ceilings. Rooms 202 - 205 have a stunning south view over the valley and mountain beyond. The room was wonderfully fresh and cool and even being summer I only occasionally needed AC. The bathrooms are small but pristine and beautiful with a rain shower. Junior suite 201 shares this view along with having a small lobby area with larger closet and a wonderful bathroom with shower/spa-bath. That is my favourite room I saw. Try to get one of these if you can. The staff are really, really nice and helpful. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. The main lounge area is very special too and wonderful on Shabbat where families talk and play games. There is also an armed guard on duty for security. The smaller rooms seem great too if you're on a small budget, just without the view and high ceilings. You cannot beat the location. If you want the authentic Jerusalem or to stay for the Holy days, this is the place to be. Overall, it is a truly special place. I have never felt more comfortable or more at home. The whole atmosphere in the place brought me so much peace. Thank you so much.

We stayed at the Sephardic House Hotel for 4 nights, and everything was perfect! From the friendly staff, clean room to the delicious food, our stay couldn’t have been better. Abir at the front desk was amazing! She was always happy, helpful and friendly, going out of her way to make sure that everything was great. And it was! We will definitely be back! Thank you!
" Great Experience"

My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks for our 13th wedding anniversary. This is a modest hotel,so it is very affordable if you are looking to stay inside the old city (which we were). The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with our every need. The room was spotlessly clean, the breakfast buffet was large and the food was fantastic.I would definitely recommend staying here and it is the only place we will stay when we return.

Mr. Shalem, I wanted to thank you in person but unfortunately did not get a chance to see you before we left. I want to thank you for your hospitality and service to me and my guests during our stay last Shabbat for Yosef's Bar Mitzvah. The meal service was excellent as was the presentation and the food itself. As you know, it was the first time I was in Israel in twenty years, and the first time for my boys and Tova, of course. Thank you so much for enhancing our simcha and contributing to a memorable experience. I will be sure to spread the word about the Sephardic House to our friends. Thank you again and continued Hatzlacha sincerely, Harold

Location was great in old city. Staff was very friendly, although a couple had limited English skills. All staff tried to be helpful and this was a major plus for this hotel. Room was Spartan but comfortable and very clean. We got a "value room". Some of the other rooms looked more luxurious. We got our money's worth and definitely would stay again.
